Niagara Falls Day Trip - Post 1

We bought 3 scooters at Walmart an headed for Niagara. We brought Sophia's bike too in case she didn't want to use the scooter. She is just learning.

We parked at the Aero Cart and Whirlpool parking area. It is 5.2 kilometers to the Falls. It is a little far to go for Sophia, but we didn't know it was so far before we set out. I remember I did the walk when Sophia was a newborn.

It is stunningly beautiful all along the gorge, and so many interesting rock formations and tidal pools. The girls stopped to look out every 2 or 3 minutes.

We made it to the Falls after quite a bit of meandering. We were hungry, so we went straight to a restaurant. We ate at Elements which is upstairs at the gift shop and attractions area (right beside the Canadian Falls). The nuggets were really good, served hot, and the french fries and mixed vegetables were also good. I got French Onion soup, it was good too. We ate everything, including the sundae with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. The only complaint I had was with the service. It might have been a tad expensive for what it was too, but I guess that is the premium one pays for eating at the Falls.

More to come in my next post...
